The C³M team has contributed to the Symposium Oeconomicum 2016 in Münster by moderating the session "Crisis Management - Every Second Counts" by Adam Widera. During the first part of the day the topic has been discussed from a commercial and political point of view. The main focus was given to the crisis communication issues. Michael Willi, Group Head of Communication from Novartis GmbH, shared his experiences with very insightful use cases from the pharma sector, while Prof. Wim Kösters from the centre for economic research and evidence-based policy advice RWI discussed the current crisis of the Eurozone. During the second part the former Commissioner for Human Rights Policy and Humanitarian Aid of the German Government, Chritoph Strässer, spoke about disaster relief in the humanitarian context. This very impressive talk has been followed by a presentation of the practical tasks, challenges and solutions of humanitarian logistics given by Sean Rafter, who is the Managing Director of the HELP Logistics AG.
